The x12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Account Analysis Transaction Set (822) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to transmit detailed balance, service charge and adjustment detail primarily from a bank to its corporate clients. However, this transaction set can also be used between or within corporations.
